Kris McFeely joined Campbell & Company in 2001. Today, she serves as Managing Director, leading a team of executive search experts who are committed to elevating the nonprofit sector by matching talented leaders with the right opportunity. Kris has successfully partnered with over 500 clients and thousands of talented candidates. Kris and the Executive Search team work seamlessly together, sourcing Campbell & Company’s extensive network to identify the best candidates for client needs. Kris especially enjoys building strong partnerships with Board Members, C-Suite executives, and talented leaders who can contribute to advancing clients’ missions.
Before joining Campbell & Company, Kris began her career at the John G. Shedd Aquarium as a Senior Animal Care Specialist for 10 years. In addition to providing daily care and training for the marine mammal collection, she was responsible for the college internship program. In this role, she interviewed, hired, trained, and mentored college students who were interested in careers in zoo and aquarium-related fields.
Kris was honored in “Crain’s 2020 Notable Leaders in HR,” a Crain’s Chicago Business award program. She has been a member of the Network of Nonprofit Search Consultants since 2012 and serves on the Program Committee. Under Kris’s leadership, Women of Color in Fundraising and Philanthropy (WOC)® ranked our practice as one of the nation’s Top 10 search firms for women of color two years in a row and Forbes Magazine has listed Campbell & Company as one of the country’s best executive search firms for four years.
