Kate brings 12 years of diverse fundraising and nonprofit management experience to her work at Campbell & Company. She understands that data-driven donor engagement strategies paired with sound operations are critical pillars for any successful fundraising endeavor. Kate is involved in Campbell & Company’s qualification services and recently co-authored research to identify best practices from the field to define a successful qualification program. Kate is passionate about helping our partners unearth the resources they need to make a difference in their community.
Prior to joining Campbell & Company in 2018, Kate held several leadership roles with the Taproot Foundation in Washington, DC and New York City, culminating with her role as Director of Philanthropy and Community Engagement in the San Francisco Bay Area. In this position, Kate was responsible for fundraising, market-building, and community engagement efforts for Taproot Foundation’s capacity-building programs and corporate consulting division.
She also worked for the Center for Youth Wellness as a development staff member, focused on building the fundraising system to grow the organization’s operations beyond start-up fundraising. Kate started her career in fundraising at the University of Maryland – College Park, where she spent several years as a fundraiser and administrative assistant for the Maryland Fund for Excellence.
Kate graduated with a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland – College Park and completed the Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Public Service at NYU Wagner School of Public Service. Kate is a member of Development Executives Roundtable and is active in the Bay Area nonprofit community.
