Craig Hightower joined Campbell & Company with more than twenty years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Mr. Hightower has a depth and breadth of experience in performing arts, healthcare, human services and educational settings. To each client, he brings a wealth of knowledge about strategic planning, board development, campaign preparation and implementation, volunteer training, as well as his energy, talent and entrepreneurial drive.
Prior to joining Campbell & Company, Mr. Hightower served as regional Vice President of Development for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. In 1992, Mr. Hightower joined Children’s Hospital of Orange County to revive a stalled capital campaign to build a new hospital and later served as Chief Development Officer with oversight of the Hospital’s comprehensive development program.
Other positions include serving as a Development Officer during a $50 million campaign for California Institute of the Arts, Major Gifts Officer at the Music Center of Los Angeles County and Executive Director of the Strawberry Creek Music Festival in Malibu, California.
A musician by training, Mr. Hightower earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Music from Eastman School of Music and the University of Southern California, respectively.
