Andrew Smerczak-Zorza
Associate Consultant, Talent Management
Andrew Smerczak-Zorza works in the Chicago office of Campbell & Company as an associate consultant in the Talent Management Practice. A member of the Talent Management team, Mr. Smerczak-Zorza creates recruitment materials, identifies and interview candidates and assists clients with the selection process.
Prior to joining Campbell & Company, Mr. Smerczak-Zorza taught for four years in schools in the United States and abroad. From 2003 to 2006, he participated in The Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme, for which he traveled to Nagano Prefecture, Japan. While there, Mr. Smerczak-Zorza served as an assistant English teacher at the junior high level, as well as developed and taught an English curriculum in four area elementary schools. As block leader for his region, he implemented a plan to assist over twenty new and existing JET participants in the Saku area with their acclimation to daily and school life in Japan. Upon arriving home in August 2006, Mr. Smerczak-Zorza taught physical education at St. Martin de Porres High School in Waukegan, Illinois.
Mr. Smerczak-Zorza received his bachelor of arts degree from Albion College in Michigan, where he majored in history and secondary education and served as vice president for the Organization for Latino/a Awareness. Mr. Smerczak-Zorza remains an active alumnus of Albion College. He enjoys world traveling and is an avid Detroit sports fan.
